What does Total Registration do with our student's data? What is Total Registration's privacy policy?

Total Registration safeguards the privacy of both students and schools. All personal data is only used for the purpose of registering students for exams. This data is not and will not be sold, given or provided to any other parties. AP coordinators at client schools are the only people that have access to their student's registration data outside of Total Registration. Total Registration will not contact students except to provide registration confirmation and/or a credit card receipt via email.

I need to pay a balance, but do not have a "Pay Now" button when I login. Why can't I pay online?

There are a couple of reasons that students may not have a "Pay Now" button when logging in at www.Student.TotalRegistration.net.

Your school is not set-up to accept online payments
You do not have a balance and therefore cannot pay online. This could be caused by fee waivers or a payment that has been recorded (possibly in error).

You can check to see if waivers or payments have been applied by using the "Reprint a Confirmation" when logging in at www.Student.TotalRegistration.net. If in doubt, please ask school to check into what your balance is.

I do not remember my password. Can you reset it.

There are two options for student's who do not remember their password:

Click the "Forgot Password" link on the Login page and the system will send a link to reset your password to the email the system has on file. Please be sure to check your Spam/Junk filter.
If you do not receive an email to reset your password, you can contact your school to have the testing coordinator reset your password.

If your email has changed you can log in at http://www.student.totalregistration.net/ with your old email (assuming you know your password) and edit your record to change your password. If you cannot remember your password, you will need to contact the testing coordinator at your school to have them edit your email and reset your password.

How do I change/edit/remove the registration I completed earlier?

Students have logins that offer the ability to review previous registrations, pay a balance due, add exams, as well as other functions.

Students can login at www.Student.TotalRegistration.net. Students will need to login using the email they registered with as well as the password they created. if you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password link to be emailed a password reset link.

I can't login. The site will not accept my email and password, it keeps asking me the email and password. (Enable Cookies)

Total Registration uses a "cookie" to keep track of logged in users. In order to log into Total Registration, you will need to have cookies enabled in your browser. If you are not able to log in, we suggest trying a different browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) or try a different computer or device (iPad) if able. Browsers and devices have different security settings, so this may solve to problem.

Click the "Under the Bonnet" tab and locate the "Privacy" section, and choose the "Content settings" button.
Click the "Cookie settings" tab and choose your preferred settings.

I am a student trying to register for exams, but I get a message that the registration is closed.

You will need to contact the AP coordinator at your school to see if you are able to register for exams. Most schools have a specific time period for exam registration. One of your AP teachers can tell you who the coordinator is or you can check with the counseling/guidance office.

Am I required to use an email address to register?

Yes. Total Registration uniquely identifies students by their email address. This means that each student (yes, even siblings) need to use an email address that is not already in our system. This email can be a student or parent email, but should be one you will remember, so you can access your registration information in the future if necessary.

I don't have an email account:

If you do not have an email address, you may want to sign up for a free email with GMail or Yahoo. You can also make up an email in the form of XXX@XXXXXX.XXX where Xs are characters. If you make up an email, you obviously will not receive a confirmation email or any emails your school sends regarding AP exams. We strongly encourage you to use a real email address.

Can I register online if my school is not set up with Total Registration?

No. Only the students of schools that use our service can register online with Total Registration. In other words, our service is provided to schools, not individual students.

If your school is not one of our clients, you might mention to the AP Coordinator that you would like to register for AP exams online using www.TotalRegistration.net.

How do I register for an exam not listed on the registration form?

You will need to contact your AP coordinator to register for an exam that is not listed on your school's registration form. One of your AP teachers can probably tell you the name of the coordinator or you can check with the counseling/guidance office.

I did not get a confirmation email. Can I get a new one?

Students can log in at www.Student.TotalRegistration.net using the same email address used at the time of registration to re-print a confirmation or to generate a new confirmation email. The information in the email is identical to the confirmation page that you were asked to print when you completed your registration. If you did not print the confirmation page, or cannot login, please see the AP coordinator at your school.
